In our beginner camps we start by learning the basics of the sewing machine, and then learning how to pin and sew seam allowances with pressing lessons. We learn many of the lessons while making a designer accessory. Then we move on to learn about fabrics and proper layout and the cutting rules (which is the foundation of any well made garment). On day 3 we start into our skirts, an easy A-line elastic cased skirt. On Day 5 if the campers are done with their lessons we have a free day of sewing!
