NGYC was founded in 1956 and serves churches throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. The camp is non-denominational and open to all. There is a strong emphasis on believing that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again to give us eternal life. Campers compete as a cabin to memorize verses, clean their cabins and in quizzing on the chapel sessions. Free time includes sports and water activities as well as organized games for teams and the entire camp. The day ends with devotions.
