Tumbleweed offers equestrian instruction during the camp day and afterwards. Our summer and winter camps include horseback riding for campers entering 1st grade and above. Twilight Horseback Riding lessons are available to campers and the community in the afternoons, after the camp day. Both opportunities help to expand the knowledge and enthusiasm for horseback riding and care. Both programs ensure safety through experienced wranglers, and proper equipment (saddles, bridles, helmets), and teach program in Western style horseback riding.
Our wranglers are experienced equestrians who have grown up with our Tumbleweed Horse Program. Their expertise has helped shape a program dedicated to sharing the joy of horsemanship and the importance for safety.
