During the week long Youth Media Tech Camp, kids and teens get their creative juices flowing and collaborate to create amazing original movies. Skills learned include how to operate a camera, how to script with Adobe Premier, how to navigate programs like iMovie, GarageBand, and iStop Motion, and how to create a movie from start to finish. Campers learn to use the green screen to create special effects, stop motion movies, digital animation, and compose music to accompany their video. This is an experience that infuses fun into learning technical skills that they will use for years to come.
After each session, family and friends are invited to watch a special screening of the campers videos in the Digital Gym’s 48-seat cinema!
